10Duke and Tanuki Software announce technical partnership to tightly integrate the Tanuki Java Service Wrapper into the 10Duke SDK.

Partnership makes it even easier for developers to create, deploy and manage Java applications.

10Duke is pleased to announce that it has entered into a technical partnership with Tanuki Software, creators of the Tanuki Java Service Wrapper, to integrate the Tanuki Wrapper into the 10Duke Software Development Kit (SDK), making it even simpler for developers to create, deploy and manage Java applications.

10Duke has tightly integrated the Tanuki Wrapper into the 10Duke SDK, allowing Java developers to benefit from the rapid application development capabilities of the 10Duke SDK and then run any created application as a Windows Service or UNIX Daemon using the Tanuki Wrapper. The wrapper also allows a developer to monitor the health of their application at runtime. The 10Duke SDK supporting documentation and API reference now include a complete package supporting the use of the Tanuki Wrapper together with the 10Duke SDK libraries.

Neil Fenton, Chairman and Founder of 10Duke comments: “For several years we have been using the Tanuki Wrapper internally in our own application development and we’ve now integrated it tightly to our SDK so that our developer community can also benefit from the Tanuki Wrapper. Not only does it allow you to run applications like a native Windows service or UNIX daemon, but it is easy to configure, has a light resource footprint, and provides the added reassurance of knowing that applications are being constantly monitored. With the integration of the Wrapper and the 10Duke SDK, developers can now create a full server-side application in one tight and elegant package.

Leif Mortenson, President and CEO of Tanuki Software comments: “We’re pleased to see our Java Service Wrapper being integrated into the 10Duke SDK, making it even easier for Java developers to quickly create, deploy and manage their applications. At Tanuki Software, we dedicate ourselves to producing high quality, reliable tools, and working with our customers and partners to do the same.”
